The Lake Vernon Association is pleased to continue the Doug Cross Stewardship Recognition Award, celebrating outstanding care for our lake. At the 2025 AGM, the inaugural award was presented to Mike and Tia Pearse of Camp Tawingo for their leadership in maintaining over 270 acres of managed forest and preserving a significant stretch of shoreline. Now in its second year, this award recognizes members or member groups who demonstrate exceptional stewardship of Lake Vernon. We invite you to submit nominations that reflect this commitment to protecting and enhancing our shared environment.
