Each summer, the Lake Vernon Association (LVA) hosts its much-loved President’s BBQ — a free event for all LVA Family Members and their guests.
Whether you’ve been part of the LVA community for years or you’re a new member, this casual gathering is all about enjoying good food, connecting with others on the lake, and creating lasting summer memories.

2025 President’s BBQ – A Great Success
The 2025 BBQ took place on Saturday, August 9th, at the beautiful waterfront property of Marg and Doug Bennett, located on the North Shore of Lake Vernon. We are incredibly grateful to Marg and Doug for generously hosting the event for the second year in a row, having also welcomed us to their home for the 2024 BBQ.
The day was sunny and warm, and we were pleased to see such a great turnout, with over 85 members and guests in attendance. It was an afternoon filled with lively conversations and a true sense of Lake Vernon spirit.
A special thank you goes out to our wonderful hosts, Marg and Doug Bennett, our dedicated Board members who helped with this event, and to all of our members who attended and contributed to making this gathering such a success.
