It give’s me great pleasure to announce that this year’s cleanup program was a great success! All sections of both Muskoka Rd 2 and 3 were cleaned up and there are 13 sections in all. Good news this year includes an increase in members that came out to help and an overall reduction in trash amount collected showing that our efforts are making a differences! Prizes will be handed out in the days leading up to the Labour Day Weekend to help cap off the event.
Many thanks to the wonderful business sponsors that joined in with prizes: Home Depot, Bickley Ford, Rolston’s Home Hardware, Lake of Bays Brewhouse Pub, The Mill on Main Restaurant, Sandhills Nursery and A&W. Special thanks to Edmonds GMC for allowing all the garbage to be dropped off at their property for disposal.
Thankyou also to Kelly Reilly-Scott for supplying safety vests for the volunteers.
Special Thanks must also go to the 28 Volunteers who picked up the trash and have made the roads clean again!
